1 Overall
Zn-Ca series mid-temperature phosphate coating agent, Don’t need the surface modifier procedure, and do not need to add the neutralizer and the accelerator, so long as use it by diluting with water in proportion under the specified temperature scope, then it will form one even, compact perse phosphating film. This phosphating film has good anticorrosion performance, may provide the rust prevention for a long time, simultaneously the film has excellent adhesion to each kind of coatings, each overcoatability surpasses the national standards. The solution sediment are few, do not need the frequent clearing.
2 Usage
2.1 Working solution prepared( calculated by one ton)
a) Add about 500KG water to tank ,then add Zn-Ca phosphate coating agent 167KG, stir evenly and supply remaining water.(Phosphate coating agent : water=1:5)
b) Heat to specified processing temperature.
2.2 Working solution management:
Total acidity: 35-65
Free acidity: 3.5-6.5
Temperature: dipping 60-70 °C
Time: dipping 4-15min
2.3 Supplement and adjustment of working solution(calculated by 1 ton):
The concentration of working solution changes continuously in the continuous processing process, so make a measure and add original liquid to assure the best status.
Generally add 4KG original liquid in one ton working solution, which can improve one points of total acidity each time.
3. Detection and analysis
3.1 Total acidity (points)
Take 10 ml tank fluid to the conical flask, add phenolphthalein indicator of 4 to 5 drops and titrate above-mentioned solution by 0.1 M sodium hydroxide standard solution from colorless to light red. The quantity (ml) of 0.1 M sodium hydroxide standard solution is called the points of total acidity.
3.2 Free acidity (points)
Take10 ml tank fluid to the conical flask, add bromophenol blue indicator of 2 to 3 drops and titrate above-mentioned solution by 0.1 M sodium hydroxide standard solution from yellow to bluish-purple .The quantity (ml) of 0.1 M sodium hydroxide standard solution is called the points of free acidity.
4. Notes
4.1 Degreasing and derusting must be completely thorough. If phosphate film is not an ideal addition, the workpiece can be immersed in pickling bath to remove the film (must be remove completely), and then make phosphating coating again.
4.2 After water rinsing process, workpieces can’t be maintained too long time in the air to prevent rust, and the water of washing tank should flow in order to ensure the quality of water.
4.3 Test TA and FA twice one day.
4.4 Phosphating workpiece should be dried at 100 to 150 degrees after water rinsing, which can increase erosion resistance. Natural-drying isn’t a good method.
4.5 Copper sulphate spot test should be done after the workpiece was naturally dried and 12 hours and the film was fully formed. Corrosion time is greater than 20 seconds.
5 Package and transportation
5.1 30 KG/plastic barrel, 200Kg/plastic barrel.
5.2 storage life is one year under poor light and drying preservation.
