  LF-18 fully synthetic anti-rust solution is an anti-rust product compounded by a variety of imported water-soluble anti-rust active agent and corrosion inhibitors. Be used to protect equipment, tool and workpiece in the metal machining. There are many advantages, such as simple operation, reducing costs, improving the working environment, and so on. This product is an ideal synthesis anti-rust liquid for ferrous metal. The product meets GB/T6144-85 standards.

1. Technical indicators

  1.1 Appearance: light yellow transparent liquid, non-stratified and no precipitation.

  1.2 pH value: 8.5 to 9.5 (5 % solution)

1.3 Rust resistance: greater than 72 hour (5% solution 25 ± 2 °C, grade 1 gray cast iron)

2. Performances and features

  2.1 Suitable for antirust processing treatment of cast iron, carbon steel, alloy steel.

  2.2 No smell, no pollution, long life. Antirust time can be up to 7 to 10 years by 5 to 10 % of using the ratio (indoor storage).

  2.3 Easy to use. It can be diluted by tap water at room temperature.

  2.4 It is recommended that the using proportion in high humidity season is 10 to 15 %.

3. Using methods and notes

  3.1 Generally used concentration is 3 to 5 %. To meet the special requirements of antirust time, it can be increased to 10 %.

  3.2 Workpieces being washed clean is soaked into the antirust liquid within 1 to 2 minutes. And then it is dried or air-dried for storage.

  3.3 Solution is consumed during using (pH value is not less than 8), and the solution is added by using concentration.

  3.4 After a long-term use, the solution was seriously polluted, impurities will increase, solution become turbid. So it is recommended to replace the working liquid within 5 to 7 days.

4. Packaging and storage

  4.1 Packing: 25Kg / plastic drum or 200Kg iron drum.

  4.2 Storage: indoor warehouse. Shelf life: two years.
